This is my acrylic lift. It consists of 12 layers, and a picture which breaks the rules. From my previous post I disused three pictures I took which broke the rules, this is one of those photographs. This acrylic lift took me 2 days to coat, and then another two days to wash away all the existing paper. I think it turned out really well, yet in the future I would do more layers as this one seemed to be slightly thin. My layers were thin and even opposed to few and thick. I really liked this medium, I think its a really cool way to incorporate pictures into a physical object. I think its really interesting how a picture can be turned into something similar to that of fabric. In the future I would use more layers to make a thicker acrylic lift.
