Sam In Renaissance

For this picture I used my Nikon D7000, a 50mm 1.8 and my setting were, ISO 400, 1/150, f1.8. When I took this picture I wanted the lighting to be identical to the original, looking at the original i found that most of the light was coming from a source on the from the right of the subject. So I placed my brightest light to the right of my subject.

This particular picture was form the 1400's and I thought it was a fun picture to use. At first glance you may think this is a female but its actually a man with very long hair, I thought this was funny and entertaining as I used Sam for my subject.

I think that i was successful in creating a portrait that was very similar to the original. I had difficulties using Photoshop as I have minimal experience with using it.
